PRESIDENT'S CORNER
The Mini Reunion on Saturday, November 21 was successful! Of the
140 people who registered, 109 showed up for the reunion.
There was a lot of interaction between family members, and many seemed
very interested in the genealogy sessions.
The delicious Jambalaya Dinner was enjoyed by all.
Our 1999 T-shirt was unveiled at the reunion. From sales it looks
like we have a winner t-shirt. Anyone interested in purchasing a
t-shirt or any other memorabilia, please address your request to the ANewsletter@
address (P. O. Box 375, Abbeville, LA 70511-0375). The committees
have been working very hard to make the 1999 reunion one that you will
remember for many years. The complete reunion itinerary will be published
in La Gazette after the general membership meeting of March 13, 1999.

Changes in Meeting Dates
The General Membership meeting of January 16, 1999, is canceled due
to conflicts with FrancoFete enents. The next General Membership
meeting will be held on Saturday, March 13, 1999, at the KC Hall in Abbeville
beginning at 4 p.m. A meal will be served. The nest Committe
Chair and Co-Chair meeting will be held on Saturday, February 13, 1999,
beginning at 4 p.m. at the Alliance Center in Abbeville. Prior to
the dates of each of these meetings, a reminder will be sent to all members
involved.
Treasurers Report
The Hebert Family Association checking accounts are:
1) The Association General Account is the account used to deposit and
disburse funds received
from dues and donations.
2) The Associations Reunion Account is the account used to deposit
and disburse funds received from
sale of memorabilia and corporate sponsorships.
At sometime during the next 3 months the Associations General
Account will transfer funds to the reunion account to help defray some
of the expenses of the reunion.
The memorabilia that the Family has for sale is made possible by the
underwriting ($) of such memorabilia by several of our members. The
people who paid for such memorabilia will be reimbursed as funds are received.
Once those people are paid the revenue received from sales will be profit.
