By Joseph P. Hébert, Jr, PhD To benefit The Hébert Family Association, we are offering a special book sale of “The Héberts, Cajuns, and Louisiana” by Dr. Joseph P. Hébert, Jr. The normal price is $30.00 plus $3.00 shipping and handling. The special sale price is $28.00 US which includes the book, free shipping and handling and one year membership in the Association. This is a revised edition (March 2001), four part hard cover of 179 pages that attempts to relate the story of the Héberts as part of Acadian and Louisiana history. Part one is historical, from the translocation of various migrations, and the transformation of the Acadian refugees after their arrival in Louisiana. Part two attempts to identify the origin and travel history of those Héberts listed on the “Wall of Names” of the St. Martinville Acadian Memorial. Part three is a genealogical listing of the descendants of the first six generations of Antoine and Etienne Hébert focusing on those Héberts whose descendants are now found in Louisiana. Part four is a selective descendants of Francois Hébert and Marie Anne Mouton of Vermilion Parish. Mail checks in the amount of $28.00 payable to: Hebert
